1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Remotico ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Remotico is a job board platform that connects employers with remote job seekers. We provide job listing, search, and application facilitation services. We are not an employment agency and do not guarantee employment.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Job Postings

Employers who post jobs on Remotico agree to the following:

• All job postings must be for legitimate, legal employment opportunities.
• Job descriptions must be accurate and not misleading.
• Postings must not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.
• Employers must not use the platform to collect personal data for purposes other than hiring.
• Job postings are live for 30 days from the date of payment.
• We reserve the right to remove any job posting that violates these terms.

5. Payments and Refunds

• Job posting fees are charged at the time of posting and are non-refundable once the posting goes live.
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.
• If a posting is removed for violating our terms, no refund will be issued.

6. Job Seekers

Job seekers using Remotico agree to:

• Use the platform only for legitimate job-seeking purposes.
• Not submit false or misleading application information.
• Not scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the platform.
• Not harass or send unsolicited communications to employers.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Post spam, fraudulent job listings, or misleading content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use automated tools to access the Service without our express permission.
• Impersonate any person or entity.

8. Intellectual Property

The Remotico name, logo, and all associated content, features, and functionality are owned by Remotico and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Job posting content remains the property of the respective employers.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any job listings, employer information, or other content on the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remotico shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, data, or profits.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
